Endurance riding apparel, designed and tested in the deserts of Dubai.
Most riding apparel was never made for this. It was made for arenas, for cooler climates, for an hour at a time.
NAFUD begins where that ends.
Every piece is designed for endurance riding alone — in both the fabric and the cut. Nothing is adapted from another discipline.
Lightweight, breathable and built to help the body hold a steady temperature through the full distance.
Trialled on horseback, in real training, in real heat.
Nafud — a sea of sand in the Arabian Peninsula. Heat, distance, endurance.
The brand was founded by an endurance rider who kept meeting the same problem: nothing available was made for the conditions she trained in. Technical sportswear was built for the gym. Riding apparel was built for the arena. Neither was built for six hours across open desert.
So the work started from the fabric up. International performance garments were bought, studied and ridden in — and each one was noted where it failed: where it held heat, where it stayed wet, where it chafed, where it stopped working at hour three.
That list of failures became the design brief.
NAFUD is built slowly and deliberately. Designs are developed and trialled in real desert training before they go into production.
A garment that performs for one hour is a different problem from a garment that performs for six.
Comfort at the start says nothing. What matters is how a garment behaves once the heat has built, the sweat has gathered, and the rider has been in the saddle a long time.
The fabric is chosen to work with the body rather than trap heat against it — keeping a rider level through long exposure instead of offering a cooling sensation that fades in the first hour.
Weight is kept deliberately low. Over six hours, every gram is felt.
Fabric is finished to resist moisture from the outside, so it does not soak, sag or grow heavy over the distance.
Moisture is moved away and released rather than held against the skin, so the garment stays light and comfortable instead of becoming wet and heavy.
Seams are placed away from the inner leg, waistband and shoulder — the points in constant contact with saddle, reins and tack. Over long hours, seam placement matters as much as fabric.
There is no shade on the course. Coverage is designed in, not offered as an option.
Trialled on horseback, in real training, in real heat.
The first NAFUD collection is currently in prototype. Samples are in production and entering field testing.
The opening range covers what a rider wears for the whole distance.
Release will follow development, not a calendar.

On larger orders, NAFUD produces custom kits carrying the stable's own logo, with colours available beyond those shown online.
